Vinnytsia Oblast ((ウクライナ語:Вінницька область), translit. ''Vinnyts’ka oblast’''; also referred to as Vinnychchyna - ''(ウクライナ語:Вінниччина)'') is an oblast of Ukraine. Its administrative center is Vinnytsia. Population: .
==History==
Vinnytsia Oblast was created on February 27, 1932 from raions of following former okruhas of Ukraine (districts of the Soviet Ukraine):
* Uman Okruha
* Berdychiv Okruha
* Vinnytsia Okruha
* Mohyliv Okruha
* Tulchyn Okruha
* Shepetivka Okruha
* Proskuriv Okruha
* Kamianets Okruha
In 1935 bordering territories of oblast were transformed into Soviet border districts: Shepetivka Okrug, Proskuriv Okrug, and Kamianets Okrug. In 1937 based on the border districts was formed the Kamianets Oblast (later Khmelnytsky Oblast).
During the World War II the territory of oblast was split between General District Shitomir (Reichskommissariat Ukraine) and Transnistria Governorate (Kingdom of Romania).
